PUBLIC ART PROPOSALS BELOW
Garnett was awarded a large public art commission by the town of Stamford in 2003, but the powers that operated outside of the percentage for art committee gave the commission to someone else. Garnett proposed a hedge maze that echoed his Fingerprint Project at Duffy Square in Times Square, but the timing was off as Duffy Square underwent a renovation and Garnett's primary contact moved on. The artist looks forward to large public installations in the future. He wants to create a Fingerprint Hedge Labyrinth with a bench and garden in the center that people can walk through.
