Garnett has been commissioned to do hundreds of gravestone etchings that dot the New England countryside. He fell into this interesting field in 1998 when he was looking for his first granite to make a Fingerprint Totem. He barters his etchings with monument companies for stones and sandblasting support for his Fingerprint Totems.
The artist takes commissions. He does 12 x 12 inch granite tile commissions. Collectors can send a photograph and the artist will make an etching as pictured above.
