Garnett just signed his 995th painting. His inventory always holds over two hundred paintings for collectors who are interested in visiting. The artist is working on an updated inventory book and a book entitled 'Sandy Garnett: 1000 Paintings'.
Garnett's broad palette has allowed the artist to paint and sculpt for a living since he graduated from St. Lawrence University.
This site is large and layered, so several visits are recommended as it is difficult to encapsulate the artist's career in one sitting. As he develops collectors over time, multiple sittings and dialogues with Garnett seem to be the best method for new collectors to find the most suitable bodies of work to patronize.
Garnett is interested in forging relationships with respected gallerists in New York and other art world markets at this point in his career. He has remained independent because he has a collector base to support him, but he is looking for larger platforms moving forward.
