THE STORY OF THIS BOOK
In 1998 Alan Abel, the country's most famous hoaxer, conceived of a humor project and upon meeting Garnett took him to lunch and asked if he'd be interested. Wary of a commercial gig but intrigued by Mr. Abel's world famous resume, Garnett went to work on what is considered to be one of the 'funniest underground cartoon books that has ever been created' (multiple quote references). Mr. Abel shopped this to all the large trade presses as he had published books himself, and although this document went straight to the top, noone would touch it. Over a decade later, in an age of rampant adult websites, owned by the media conglemorates who found '101' a bit 'racy', this book is a throwback, a timeless piece of humor that speaks of a more innocent age.
